In this very relevant book for today’s Christian in today’s world, Dr. Munroe shares God’s intention and design for His Heavenly kingdom, which actually is to operate right here on earth. God desires for His subjects (those that name the name of Christ) to represent Him in our actions and thoughts in everyday life. Our citizenship in Heaven doesn’t begin when we die, it began when acknowledged and accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior. Munroe says that there should be something so distinct about our culture (our beliefs, customs and way of operation) that all outsiders would immediately know that our community is different and unique (no other like it).
According to Dr. Munroe, walking into “church” should be an experience like none other, the citizens love each other, take care of each other, are disciplined and obey all of the rules of the King and have penalties for those who do not.
